After getting their annual vet check, vaccinations, and blood draw for infectious diseases, the yearling buy-back ponies were turned loose to roam Assateague until this year's Pony Penning. The first three photos show the yearlings leaving the stock trailer that carried them to Assateague Island; Chincoteague Island houses can be seen across the Assateague Channel.
