Happy Easter! - A New Foal and a Trip

It's Easter Sunday.  I received three cards today - one from each of my cats, and from my room-mate. We shall feast on ham this evening....  Here are a few old Easter cards and a page from a book:

Translation: From all buds sprouted the kittens silky soft, they wish for a party
today, with Good Luck and Joy for all.  Happy Easter.

This is a page from a 1916 book titled: The Easter Bunny's Trip

Due to poor weather conditions, Captain Dan's Around the Island Tours (also known as the Foal Patrol) was not planning on going out yesterday, but several hardy souls (and good sailors) asked him to do so.  He did - and spotted the ninth foal of 2019.  A bay pinto foal for sire Wild Thing and dam Summer's Gentle Sea Breeze.  Photos taken by Captain Dan Davis - he and the Coles are hoping for better ones tomorrow...

Still no sightings of the Chincoteague mare, Jigsaw.  We are all beginning to worry.

I didn't blog Friday or Saturday because we took a 10-hour road trip on Friday, and I spent yesterday going through the photos...   Will share during the upcoming week, and will post on my Facebook Page as an album.
