Wildfire with 80 - 90 mph Winds
There is a wildfire to the north east of Boulder. We're having wind gusts in the 80s and 90s-mph. Unfortunately, the land where the fire is has a few homes and multiple ranches. Folks are being evacuated immediately, most without a chance to get their pets or livestock free and clear. The wind is blowing eastwards, and a wall of flame is being reported at Neva Road and the Foothills Parkway. I don't personally know anyone living in that area, but my heart and prayers go out to them, and to all the animals and wildlife within the affected areas. We're expected to have the high winds through 6 p.m. tonight.
