Little Bits
The coffin races, frozen turkey bowling, parade, and all other items planned for today in Nederland's Frozen Dead Guy Days (honoring Grandpa Bredo, who is packed in dry ice in a Tuff Shed there), have been cancelled due to high winds. Town officials hope to hold all activities tomorrow, along with Sunday's regularly scheduled events. ... In Cheswold, Delaware, a four-foot long alligator was discovered living in a retention pond. It will be relocated to a more southerly location. .... And I'm looking forward to watching the movie Sunset tonight - it stars Bruce Willis as Tom Mix and James Garner as Wyatt Earp. Looks like it will be very enjoyable! It's on the Encore Western channel, starting at 9:40 p.m. EST.
