Dreamer's Faith Found - Deceased
This is going to be short and painful folks. The body of Dreamer's Faith, the missing Chincoteague pony weanling, has been found. She was positively identified by her microchip. Had she been a Kentucky thoroughbred, the cause of death would have been listed as "a paddock accident." Suffice to say that fans of the Chincoteague ponies, and the people who donated $7,500 to the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company for the right to name her, are devastated. We mourn her death, and, especially the manner of her passing. She has joined the huge pony herd across the Rainbow Bridge... This is a photo I took of her in the South Holding Pen on Assateague:
