World Autism Awareness Day

One in every 68 children is diagnosed with having Autism Spectrum Disorder.  The proportions are 5 boys diagnosed to every girl; however, new studies show that many more girls are also autistic, but have learned to cover their problems dealing with society.

Autism is NOT a disease.  There is no special cure. We need to accept people who suffer from autism into our society - as much as they are willing to participate.  Welcome people who perceive things differently - don't shun them!
