First 2017 Chincoteague Foal Born on Assateague - Photos

Sunday, 5 March, saw the first foal born on the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge for this year.  It's a little filly, and since she's been running wildly about since two hours after hitting the ground, I'm calling her "March Hare."  Her dam is Anne Bonny, and her sire is Tornado's Legacy.  -  The foaling season has started!!
