A Late Happy Valentine's Day Wish

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day with the one, or surrounded by the ones, you love.  I had a delightful discussion about Valentine's Day with Shirley, who is 95 years young, and I received lots of love from Lovey, Nedi, Rosie, Cooper, Lola, Tipsi, Pounce, and Belle.  It was a lovely, relaxing day, although it was a mite windy.  And yesterday morning, while standing in the cul-de-sac with the neighbors, we had a sighting of a huge raccoon sauntering along the fence-line.  Luckily, Nicodemus, their Jack Russell, didn't spot the critter.

With all of the fine powder snow that has fallen recently, most of Colorado is under avalanche warnings - not here, in the east, however.  The snow has finally melted in the back yard, and we now have a grass and leaf ground cover.  There are still piles of snow in parking lots, and a few chunks of ice here and there, but Boulder is mostly clear again.  It will be mostly cloudy today, but we're expecting a high in the low 60s, which will be heavenly.
Right now, I'm very happy for Bode Miller - the crazy outlaw has finally settled down, a bit - and, at 36, is the oldest alpine skier to medal in the Olympics.  Way to go, Bode!  I'm very proud for you and your family!
