Dog Adoptions FREE on Thursday and Friday

This Thursday and Friday, the 17th and 18th of December, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley is having free adoptions for any dog at the shelter that is 6 months of age or older.  Each and every adoption comes with a satisfaction guaranteed promise.  The dogs are current on all vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and have a microchip for identification.  Dogs available for adoption may be seen at:   https://www.boulderhumane.org/animals/adoption/dogs
Our local Humane Society places over 7,000 pets each year - cats, dogs, and other small animals.  I donate annually, as I adopted both of my cats from them.  Check out what the Humane Society of Boulder County does - visit the website, and check out all the cool classes and veterinary care that is available through them.  The home page is found at:  https://www.boulderhumane.org/
They also have a Thrift Shop, which I frequent for various purchases - some of the items available will blow you mind...  My brother-in-law purchased a hand-made suit that fit him perfectly for a mere $45.  Items change daily, so visit them in person at: 5320 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder.
And they are always looking for volunteers to work with all of the animals, and at the Thrift & Gift Shop.  If you enjoy socializing animals, or chatting with people, please volunteer.

****  I still hold my stance that you should NOT give a pet as a holiday or birthday gift.  (See previous blog regarding this.)  But if you are seeking a companion for life, I suggest the Humane Society as your starting point.  ****
