Forgot to look at the pedigrees of today's runners - how awkward! The Breeders Cup will be shown live on ESPN2 today - beginning at 4 p.m. EDT. Six races will be run today: The Juvenile Sprint, covering 6 furlongs, that is open to both colts and fillies will be the first race televised. Then there will be five races for the girls and ladies only. Th Juvie Sprint has 8 colts and 1 filly entered: colts carry 122 pounds, and Shumoos, the filly, carries 119. I like the bloodlines of Blacky the Bull, Holdin Bullets, and Vexor. There are three kids descended from Forli* that I also like - Shumoos, Secret Circle, and Jake Mo.
I have to go walk the red kids, and then I'll be back looking at pedigrees, and finishing my blog....
