Rest In Peace, Jack Pascoe

Jack the cat, who was lost in the American Airlines baggage terminal at JFK Airport on August 25, was found on October 25.  He fell through a ceiling tile and landed on a conveyor belt, ending a 61 day search for him.  Jack was frail, dehydrated, and very emaciated.  He was immediately taken to a vet in NYC.  After consulting with many experts, the vet put Jack to sleep yesterday.  He had multiple cuts on his back and they would not heal.  He had been fed intravenously, as well as being hydrated.  But due to 61 days without food or water, he was unable to recover.  My thoughts, prayers and condolences got to Jack and his owner.
