Red Vixen

The eyes of this mother fox takes a close look at me before going away.

The red fox can grow to be 16 inches at the shoulder, 41 inches from nose to tail, and can weigh up to 15 pounds. These are the "norms" for a healthy red - but there are many variances in the wild.
